Manna Gum | Sketch

This Artwork is to symbolise the intricate details that make our Country so beautiful.
Bunurong people have a strong connection to the Manna Gum as it is one of our
leaves that we use during our smoking ceremonies to welcome others onto our
Country. The rings of the trunk in this piece speak to the generations that have
handed down this vital information.
Often when we see a Manna Gum tree, we are too busy to stop and see the finer
details of what makes it so perfect and this is piece to symbolise that sometimes the
most beautiful sights and stories come from things we maybe cannot see.
